June Full-Time Audio Technology Program

"SAE Nashville will be replacing all Part Time classes for 2008 with Full
Time evening classes. Graduation will be in just 9 months instead of 18
months. We are very excited about this change and feel this will be a great
benefit to our non-traditional students."
The first full time evening session
will begin June 30, 2008 along with the customary morning session.

SAE Nashville occupies over 15,000 sq. feet with over 20 studios and workstations including SSL 4000 and Neve 88R control rooms, 5.1 surround studio, as well as, Mackie analog and Yamaha digital control rooms. With exclusive AMS-NEVE & SSL training, as well as, an included Apple MacBook, Digidesign's Pro Tools, and industry related software for every student in the Audio Technology Program, SAE Nashville is the clear choice to jump start your career in the audio industry.

(June 20th, 2008):The Club Cubase/Nuendo Nashville user group will be holding a special meeting during the NAMM show on Friday June 20th at 7 PM at SAE. They will take a special new look at the forthcoming new hardware from Steinberg the MR816CSX/MR816X audio interfaces and CC121 controller. As a special treat they will have guests from Yamaha in Japan to meet with the group. Don't miss this special opportunity to see this exciting hardware and software solution.

(June 15th, 2008):SAE was visited recently by up and coming artist and songwriter Rachel ProctorRachel Proctor. Rachel cowrote "Come on Over" with Jessica Simpson and Victoria Banks for release on Simpson's new country album. With the release of "Come on Over" Simpson was recently recognized as " the highest charting debut solo artist in the history of Billboard's country singles chart" (The Tennessean). Rachel was on the SAE campus to record an episode of Music City Unsigned, which highlights up and coming artist in the Nashville music industry.

Mopreme Shakur at SAE Institute's Los Angeles campus to finish up his next record. Mopreme and his crew will be giving unique insight into the production and mixing process with SAE students assisting on the sessions in the Neve and ICON studios throughout February.

SAE is set to open the world's biggest technology school alongside the very best seats of learning in the UK. Not only will the new Oxford campus be the largest SAE Institute to date - more than 8,500 square meters - it is also set to become a significant degree centre for the SAE european operations, the flagship school amongst the 50 SAE Institutes that already exist on five continents. It will also be the fourth UK SAE. This is a completely new dimension for SAE and a milestone in its history of more than 30 years of providing creative technology education. Alan Parsons SeminarLegendary producer/ engineer/multi-instrumentalist Alan Parsons visited SAE Institute in Nashville, Tennessee sharing his vast knowledge of the music industry with SAE students and alumni. Parsons took students throughout the initial recording process into the final mixing stage.

Logic StudioSAE is excited to announce that students enrolling in the Audio Technology Program in SAE's U.S. campuses will now receive Apple's newly released Logic Studio as part of SAE's Ultimate Studio Package. EsessionSAE Nashville recently hosted a special day-long series of exclusive seminars by eSession. Founded by author, composer and studio owner Gina Fant-Saez and GRAMMY® Award-winning producer and mixer Kevin Killen, eSession is the leader in professional Internet-based collaborative music recording, mixing, project management, and home to a growing pool of some of the world's finest musicians and audio professionals.

Throughout the day-long demonstrations, Fant-Saez focused on a variety of relevant topics including the current and future direction of the recording process and how eSession uses ground-breaking/proprietary tools and protocols to allow recording artists, musicians, mixers and producers to be able to work together in ways never before possible, combining the talent and vision in practical and creative ways.

(April 9th, 2007): SAE Institue Co-Sponsors Johnny Hiland Promo Appearance for new signature Paul Reed Smith guitar.
SAE Institute will be co-sponsoring several stops on Johnny Hiland's clinic and concert tour sponsored by Paul Reed Smith Guitars to promote his new Johnny Hiland Signature Model instrument. The events will offer fans a unique opportunity to hear this master guitarist give his insights into the outstanding tonal and aesthetic design of the instrument, along with an intimate educational opportunity for musicians of all abilities to enjoy. SAE staff will be on-hand at the events in Tennessee representing the school and answering industry related questions concerning their programs and facilities.

Trina’s career and life has taken her all over the world in pursuit of her goal of being a leading record producer. With over twenty years in the business, Trina is a multiple Grammy Award winner and “makes a good living doing something she loves”.

(March 8th, 2007):
Veteran guitarist Harold Bradley spoke with SAE students about his experiences from being the President of Nashville's Association of Musicians to playing with artists such as Elvis, Buddy Holly, Hank Williams, Perry Como, and many others.

(February, 2007):
A Gold Record Club award was presented to SAE Founder, President and CEO Dr. Misner on behalf of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, recognizing the contributions of himself and SAE to the Nashville music community.
